The role of Holiday Sales Receptionist includes:


  • Welcome all visitors to the Park in a professional, friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating manner, demonstrating a positive ‘can do’ attitude at all times.
  • Promptly and courteously answer incoming telephone calls, deal with enquiries, transfer calls and accurately record and pass on messages.
  • Check in holiday guests on arrival, answer queries and handle all special requests appropriately and efficiently. Transport guests from reception to their accommodation, show them around their property and explain the facilities/equipment provided.
  • Check out guests at the end of their stay in accordance with Company procedure.
  • Provide holiday bookings information for housekeeping and maintenance, record any maintenance/housekeeping issues and ensure correct manager/supervisor is informed.
  • Ensure any customer complaints are handled with tact and sensitivity, and are passed promptly to the relevant manager.
  • Take a pro-active approach to acquiring knowledge of the Park’s products and services, and those of the local area (including local services, attractions and events), and use this information to assist guests in making the most of their stay. 

Holiday Sales

  • Professionally and knowledgeably take holiday enquiries by telephone, email and in person. Make bookings using the Company’s online booking system, and accurately process/record deposits and balance payments.
  • Conduct holiday sales follow-up calls and actively promote repeat bookings.
  • Follow Company procedures to ensure sales opportunities are maximised and CRM systems are maintained in order to facilitate future sales opportunities.
  • Actively and knowledgeably promote Park services and facilities in order to maximise opportunities for sales in all areas of the business. 

Leisure Club

  • Ensure Woodland Leisure Club members fully complete registration documents with all required information. Issue membership cards together with Club rules and information. Fully explain Leisure Club rules and give gym inductions.
  • Accurately record all Leisure Club member information on the Softsport database.
  • Admit members to the gym and the swimming pool in accordance with Company procedures.
  • Provide the first line of monitoring of the swimming pool and gym areas in accordance with Company procedure. Carry out regular walk-round checks in the swimming pool and gym, record checks and report any issues to the appropriate manager.


  • Complete all Reception opening, closing and other regular routine tasks.
  • Follow all till and cashing up procedures.
  • Undertake additional administration tasks as and when required.
  • Reply to incoming emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collate and frank outgoing mail.
  • Comply with the Company’s Health and Safety policy and procedures.

To succeed in the position of Holiday Sales Receptionist, you will:

  • Have previous experience in a similar role within a hospitality or leisure environment.
  • Have good administration and IT skills.
  • Have a passion for delivering excellent levels of customer service.
  • Have good communication skills and an ability to build a rapport with both customers and guests.
  • Possess a strong work ethic.

Working on a rota basis, you must be available for both day and evening shifts including weekends, Bank Holidays and during school holidays.


Housekeeping Assistant

Permanent, Part-time

Our Housekeeping team is responsible for maintaining consistently high standards of cleanliness in our clubhouse, leisure facilities and our luxury hire fleet of lodges, cabins and caravans. We are now seeking additional team members who ideally have previous experience within a similar role although this is not essential as full training will be given.

The role of Housekeeping Assistant includes:

  • Carrying out all cleaning tasks within our clubhouse – this includes cleaning our bar, restaurant, reception and offices together with our swimming pool and gym facilities
  • Carrying out all cleaning tasks within our luxury holiday lodge and caravan hire fleet
  • Carrying out routine swimming pool deep cleaning
  • Working independently and as part of a team

To succeed in our Housekeeping team you will:

  • Ideally be able to demonstrate previous cleaning/housekeeping experience within a similar environment
  • Have a keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain consistently high cleaning standards
  • Possess a strong work ethic
  • Be able to meet deadlines
  • Thrive in a busy environment

A variety of shifts are available, worked on a rota basis and subject to seasonal variation. You must be able to work on Mondays and Fridays together with other days (including weekends) as required. You will also need to be available to work on Bank Holidays and during school holidays.
