Our park is hidden in the middle of the beautiful countryside of Norfolk, a few hundred yards away from the sea. It is the perfect place to unwind and spend some time amidst the trees. We believe that everyone should be able to enjoy what our park has to offer in equal measure. To that end, we’ve tried to make Woodland Holiday Park as accessible as possible.

Outside Areas

We have designated three parking spaces for disabled parking. You can find these in the car park directly behind the Sales Office. Please note there is no parking permitted in front of the Clubhouse. This is to guarantee access to any emergency vehicles if required. All holiday homes have their own private parking space next to it.

The car park for the Clubhouse – home to Marlings Bar & Restaurant and Trimingham Leisure Club – is located 200m from the entrance. A smooth pathway (suitable for wheelchair users) runs from the car park to the Clubhouse.

Access to the Reception, Marlings Bar & Restaurant, and the Leisure Club is completely step-free.
The majority of paths in the park is smooth tarmac. As can be expected in a woodland area, the ground is in some places uneven.

Reception

Our reception area is an open space with plenty of room for mobility scooters and wheelchair users to manoeuvre.

The Reception has a step-free disabled access entrance with double doors that open both ways. The doors are manually operated. Please let a member of the team know if you require assistance.
A disabled toilet is available here.

Marlings Bar & Restaurant

You can access the restaurant from the reception area. It has a step-free disabled access entrance with double doors that open both ways. The doors are manually operated. Please let a member of the team know if you require assistance.

Marlings is a table service establishment: a server will bring your menus and take your order. You can also pay at your table.

Our chefs can accommodate food allergies. It is important to let your server know if you have any allergies.

A disabled toilet is available here.

Trimingham Leisure Club

Trimingham Leisure Club has a disabled changing room facility as well as a disabled toilet. Both are clearly indicated inside the building.
The leisure club has wide corridors with plenty of space to accommodate wheelchair users.
Disabled users are welcome to use the gym and pool. Please note that there are several steps leading into the pool with no step-free alternative.

All Areas

With the exception of the patio area in the garden, all facilities at Woodland Holiday Park are on one level. The patio area can be accessed via a step.

All areas of the park are well-lit.

Assistance dogs are welcome everywhere. Dogs must be kept on a lead.

If you require support or have any questions regarding accessibility at Woodland Holiday Park, please do ask the team. They will be more than happy to assist you further.
