About Woodland Holiday Park

Our History

Since 1970 we have been providing a home from home environment for our owners, many of whom have been with us since day one.

The park evolved from a simple touring park into a leisure park now owning a variety of luxury hire accommodation, including Scandinavian lodges, woodland cabins and caravans, most of which have hot tubs. A clubhouse was added during 1996 with an indoor heated swimming pool in early 2000.

In January 2016 our Technogym opened its doors. Over £100,000 has been invested to create one of the best-equipped gyms in the county installing state of the art equipment used by professional athletes including the England football team.

2016 also saw the opening of Buxton Piece, which offers the unique opportunity for potential owners to purchase a luxury double- or single-unit lodge set in a magnificent area with spectacular views over open countryside. The site is set in 8 acres of stunning countryside located in an idyllic secluded setting in the grounds of Woodland Holiday Park.

Moving into 2018 not only are we delighted to announce the renovation of our leisure centre, turning what is already a fantastic facility, into a luxury and state-of-the-art spa, we also have a brand-new lodge development coming. We are taking this development to a whole new level by introducing some magnificent lodges, incorporating the very latest ideas and features.
