Local Attractions

Beautiful & tranquil Norfolk is a diverse county with a huge amount on offer for couples and families alike, and here at Woodland Holiday Park we are lucky to be in the heart of un-spoilt countryside and surrounded by Blue Flag beaches.

We’re just 20 minutes from the UK’s magical waterland the Norfolk Broads, why not hire a boat and spend the day relaxing on the water, stopping at traditional pubs for refreshment along the way.

Situated on the coast we are close to a number of traditional seaside resorts which have a rich maritime history and entertainment for all the family, and for the wildlife lovers there are many nature reserves in the area where you can watch  birds and seals in their native environment; and obviously a trip to Norfolk isn’t complete without visiting the home of the famous Cromer Crabs for fish and chips by the sea.

Consistently voted as one of the best cities for shopping in England, Norwich has a fantastic mixture of local independent stores and big name brands that will keep you occupied all day; as a city of culture there are plenty of historic buildings and museums to give you an insight into Norfolk heritage.

A favourite of the royals since Queen Victoria Norfolk is still famous as a royal retreat and has a number of National Trust properties to explore.

There’s nowhere quite like Norfolk!

We recommend visiting the Norfolk Tourist Attraction’s website for a full list of up to date local attractions.
