Why not hire a boat for a day and discover the Norfolk Broads.  Nearby Wroxham and Stalham have boat hire facilities where you can explore the peaceful broads in your own time.  There are miles of gentle waterways, where you can watch the hours go by in the peaceful Norfolk countryside.  Stop off at a pub on the way and then continue your  journey while you listen to the water lapping against the boat.
